Emanating from its Northeast home in Wheeling, West Virginia since 1933, the Wheeling Jamboree‘s rich history and long list of pioneering country music artists is unprecedented. “The World’s Original Wheeling Radio Jamboree” is one of the last remaining shows of its kind, being second only to Nashville’s “Grand Ole Opry” in longevity.

Roger Hoard, born in West Virginia and raised in Ohio, has enjoyed an illustrious musical career, spanning the country from nearby Pittsburgh to Los Angeles. He was the musical director of the Wheeling Jamboree from 1989 to 1998, and has performed as a member of several successful bands known locally and nationally. In the past, he has toured with B.E. Taylor; however, he currently tours with The Fabulous Bender Boys.

The Black Sheep Vineyard is a family-owned winery in rural Adena, Ohio, serving hand-crafted wines in a cozy country atmosphere. It’s one of our favorite venues, and we really appreciate their support, so check out our schedule of upcoming events to find out when we’re there next.
